Social hour on Friday 6/5 starting at 9:30 PM. .
A-Mill Artist Lofts

The Tango State: : a prelude to The Third Intelligence
This is a participatory workshop.
NO DANCE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
The Tango State workshop in June is a focused exploration of Argentine tango—its social, historical, and cultural roots, and what makes it a unique social experience.
Through movement, music, video, and guided observation, we’ll look at how tango reflects the way we relate, respond, and connect—both in dance and in life. This is not a dance class, and it’s not a romantic or psychological journey—this is the beginning of understanding tango at its core, and why that often elusive connection matters.
Open to all:
Tango dancers: This workshop will strengthen the foundation of your already developed dance. It will give you a new perspective and ample room to continue your exploration after our sessions together. Please invite the non-dancer friends you’ve been wanting to bring into tango; this is the right place to start.
Non Tango dancers: please follow your curiosity, you will enjoy this experience and you do not need to learn to dance to fully participate!
You will be invited to explore:
Guided movement & partner exercises
Light lectures & guided visualizations
Argentinian empanadas will be served on Friday after the workshop ends.
A transformative experience that brings emotion into your body.
